Hey, Rich:
I have a question:
Is it all right for me to remove my short story from hootoo, now that you are done with it?
I would normally have already removed it from the AWW, and tomorrow is a writing day, so I wanted to do cleanup.

Sorry, I meant the short story for the first week of 'The Stretcher'.
Not thinking, sorry. It was called 'The Shell of the World Is Cracked'.

My only concern is that Post links might get broken, but that isn't an issue if you can supply me with the replacement UG link.

Ah. That answers my question, then.
That story will never appear in the UG. So I wondered if it was going to be a problem getting it back as my property. To take it off the site.
If you guys have a lien on it, then you do, and I will be more careful about what I submit in future.

Ah, I see. No, that's fine. Just let me know if you want to remove anything from the site and I'll just delete the link, as I did with Merry Anne's piece in this week's issue. Not a problem at all.

I'm going to sort out some Post stuff now, so I'll take the link off shortly. We're not claiming any proprietary rights over anything
Just out of interest, what are you planning to do with it?

Not sure, but there's a new arts review I already have a story in, and the editor might take a look at it over there.
They didn't mind that my first story had been in the AWW, but I hate to have double exposure, as I feel that might detract from their project.
By the way, if you know any folks who are interested, this journal's looking for new writing talent...

They asked us all to publicise it, but I don't spam, so...

Removed the link from week one. If you do get it published elsewhere on the web, in any form, let me know and I'll happily add a link to the new version
