Hi Rich, If I can just ask you to take a short break from all that big-budget movie production stuff... smiley - cool

This was one of those 'it's a small world' moments. I went cycling at Brockenhurst last year, so I even know where Standing Hat is! We ate at the Rose & Crown afterwards, which was very pleasant, so I'm glad you mentioned it.

As ever, let me know whether it's a blockbuster or a turkey (to use your new terminology). It's here: A30560979

smiley - cheers Icy

Looks great to me! The deer footage was shot just inside the woods, about a mile from Standing Hat. Well worth a look if you're ever there agin smiley - smiley

Hi Rich smiley - smiley

Just ran across this while I was looking for something else. It seems you haven't written the first New Forest walking guide on the BBC Website!

I'll have to see if they do the SW Coast path too!

smiley - cheers Icy

Pretty good. Of course, they're not as good as mine, though, and no AV either smiley - winkeyesmiley - tongueincheek

I agree. That deer-spotting moment is a classic. smiley - ok

I'm glad it works - that bit took me ages to sequence so that it ran with the music. I think our clips are getting better, even if they are quite time-consuming to make.

I'd love to do Envy-free Cake Division as a movie, but I have no facilities whatsoever to do it. I could write the screenplay, I suppose?

That certainly sounds interesting. The only downside I can see is that a small cast and a number of cakes would be required, so it could be quite a job to film. If you give me a basic rundown of what you're thinking, I could let you know if I could do it or not - it would probably have to wait until after the Beeblecast, though.

Yes, plus use of vicarage garden, dog collar, referee's uniform and ceremonial sword (sounds like one of Lil's parties).

smiley - laugh Yes, a different slant in the screenplay might be required!

Must make a note to go to one of lil's parties one of these days.
