This whole silly, blown out of proportion fiasco will likely see me removed from H2G2 (sadly).

You posted something offensive to football supporters thanks to its theme of shallow prejudice. It was quite vitriolic, and seemed to be of a tone that would deliberately attempt to put football supporters on a lower tier. The article made an easy target into an intellectual one, and I found that offensive, and told you as much. Then it turns out it was copied from another source, and therefore plagiarised. I didn't have any part in the 'plagiarism' part, but when it comes to 'asking questions', you cannot post an article like that and expect a 'shoot later' response. Let's not forget that your Entry shot first.

I hope this doesn't make you leave h2g2. I comment on Entries, not on people. This episode will not affect my view of you, nor of your future work. The other Entry you have written is clever and interesting, and you have good potential as a writer. I notice on the other thread that you have asked for an end to that conversation and for peace. I can accept that, as you appear to realise that you have caused a few people great offence by posting this piece.

Oh, and I know you meant it with a good dose of sarcasm, but I'm not a genius. I've just been working very hard for this site for a long time, so it looks like I am
