I'm not really here

Thanks again for organising the meet, and finding us things to do! Despite the wind and the weather, we had a really great time and look forward to the next one!

You're welcome any time! You guys were great company, on the moor and back here, and I was sad to see you go. I know Devon is a place that it takes a very special effort to pass through, but my door is always open whenever you're down this way smiley - hugsmiley - kiss

That's very kind of you to say so! I'm always worried J's constant talking is annoying, and that my moaning at him for constant talking is even more annoying. smiley - laugh

I am hoping to come back that way before November, as I've got some Longleat attractions I've paid for and still not visted to see - also I've convinced my friend that her life is not complete until she's put my dreadlocks back in, now my hair is long enough. I'm hoping to leave it until the end of August, if she can manage that. And I will be without dogs & J at that time! If I can manage it I'd love to drop in, and hopefully visit some pubs for more than one pint at time. smiley - cheers Although I realise August is probably your busiest time...

I *like* kids that talk a lot! The good ones are much more interesting to listen to than most adults. I did like hearing all about his planet smiley - laugh I'll remember that conversation for a while. He comes across as a cracking lad, actually.

So, you're planning to come back already, eh? I can always get a bit of time off, so that I can work until 2-3pm one day, have the next day off then go back in at 3pm the following day, so I can normally sort out some free time as long as it isn't over Bank Holidays! If you can leave it until early September, I might be able to get two days off and organise my shifts in the same way. Are you thinking of coming back to Torquay, or do you want a guide for a similarly sensational part of this fine county?

I'm sure I've seen a picture of you with dreads, so it was bit surprising to meet you without them, even though I knew you didn't have them, if that makes sense. I think they really suit you smiley - smiley

I'm not sure what I'm thinking of yet - I just want to get back to get my dreads done again! And I'll take what I can get while I'm down there. If I can't bring the dogs then I won't want to be away too long.

I picked that time as J will be on holiday with his dad, which I think does run into very early September, but my calendar seems to have vanished and so I can't look at any dates. It also depends on when he starts school again, and if Fynn can manage those dates anyway. The other option I fancy is the last week of May - again J is away with his dad, and it's my birthday around that time as well, so a good time to be spending with friends. But again, it's holiday time!

The postman has been! smiley - biggrin

Thank you very much, that's really kind of you! I'll make sure I plant the 'unknown' seeds in a place I can go back to and figure out what they are, and I've got a perfect place for the foxgloves. You know where the book is going already smiley - winkeye

Thanks again, and hopefully see you soon smiley - smooch

Glad they got there, I was starting to fret!

If you don't recognise the seeds once they sprout, send me a photo and I'll probably recognise them. If they grow of course - they've been on the fridge for a couple of years.

I'm going to be spending tomorrow sowing seeds. smiley - biggrin With this hot weather I keep thinking it's too late, but of course it's still April and a good time to sow. I have to start everything off indoors though. The trouble with a wildlife garden is that the wildlife generally eats all the baby plants.

PS - I did ask the post office if they'd send tadpoles but they said no. smiley - blue
