Hey hey!
I have added you as a friend, if you that's OK with you. I just read your Belgian Congo collaborative effort and thought you seemed sound. I have only been here a few weeks, so I'm gradually learning how everything works and who everyone is. Since I keep seeing your red dragon logo everywhere, I guessed you might know.
I'm thinking of starting my own newbies guild, but I'm too new to know how to.

Like the Belgian Congo collaborative effort. I was going to suggest including reasons why the country has had such a troubled post-colonial history, but I realised that would be opening a whole can of worms, since you could say the same about a lot of former colonies and have no definitive answer for any of them.

Yeah, that Belgian Congo thing. I'm regretting ever having picked that up. I found it in the Flea Market, which is where entries end up if they were submitted for review their authors have left the site. I had learned a little bit about the Belgian Congo in school and so I thought I was up to the task. Little did I know...
BTW, thanks for the comments. Due to a busy life I may not get to them till the weekend, but I hope you'll understand.
Hey, hootoo is a confusing place. I've been here since October (which is not long in the grand scheme of things) and I'm still trying to figure out what on earth is going on sometimes. Do let me know if there's anything in particular you're curious about, or you could take the <./>DontPanic-Tour</.> if you're just completely confused, though I don't find it particularly useful.
