h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Yes me again, took a review the wrong and bad way, deleted my story and took myself off the group list, i was a prat to do that may i re join i want to still write, you said some of the reviews were harsh, what did they say?.

Anyway i have decided to re-write the opening keep same outline just do my best to improve on what is there.

I said that some reviews on the site had been harsh - by that I meant on the Get Writing site, I was not referring to any comments about YOUR work. Remember, you get to see all the comments people make about your work.

To let you know a bit more about me, I have suffered from depression, anxiety and lack of confidence. I take pills to give me the courage to go to Sainsbury's. Does that mean I get paranoid about my writing being rejected? No - Why? Because it is not a personal attack at me. The pleasure you get out of a single stranger making an effort to read a piece you have written and to add a comment far outweighs the grump that you can get into when someone has a dig.

You will only get constructive help and support in the Sci-Fi group.

That's one of my downsides i do get paranoid but can see now, well the light shall we say.

I have already thought of what i will do with the re-write and in the process thought of another story idea.

Which i will tell you about after i do a re-write on my asteroid piece and see what comes of that.

Your piece was sound as a concept, that's the main thing.
I'm lucky that I have a very 'visual' imagination. Sometimes it can be hard to convey what I see in my head, but there we go.
