My name is Kylie im 31 years and i live in Australia,I have 2 daughters Amber 5years and Lola 5months and live with thier father Ricky and we have been together for 8years.

WE have just purchased our 1st house together so we are now in debt for the next however many years but at least in the end we can say we own our own home

i live in a house thats owend by a housing assosiation, being disabled i dont have to pay rent or whats called comunity tax.

ive never marryed, i might have a 41 yr old son in london, in 1966, a lass i was with had a baby,tony, we couldnt get on, so i went to manchester to live.

soon after i went off, she had tony taken away, about 3 or 4 months ago, i got a call, the question, are you my father.
-
since then, its turned out his mother was cheating on me, so its a 50/50 that i could be his father, he will be coming to see me at the end of october,and his mother, who is also still alive, but in poor health.

My partner Rick is not disabled but had an accident at work a few years ago now which ended with a pinched ciatic nerve and a bulging disc and he is still young and he is now out of work due to it and he is now on restricted duties for the rest of his life.

He cant lift anything over 10kgs and can only stand and sit for short periods at a time and is on very strong painkillers and they dont seem to help that much.

He is a pastry chef fully qualified.

He had an operation to help fix the problem but it didnt do much good so i now must be the one to go back to work.

in 1994 i worked as a printer in a large architects office.

one day i was left with no help, on a very big job, so i have to race here and there, and about mid morning, i went dizzy and a pain in my chest, and went down,
-
only for a few mins, so i just carried on till dinner,but a lot slower.and didnt say anything to my boss.
-
next day was slow. then the following day the same happened, so i went on the way home to the doctors, the test that night showed ide had at least 3 heartattacks, so i was off work for over 9 months, then the doctor said if i wanted to never have the problem agin, i was to give in my notice, later test showed work was out altogether.

so now i live from day to day, taking the day slow, and i dont lift anything above a small shopping bag lol.

Hi jimcracker,how are you today?I was so sorry for you to read what happened 3 heartattacks in one day and you kept working thats what you call dedication to your job.

Did your boss compensate you in any way at all?


Rick was compensated from his injury but i know in a heartbeat he would give the money back in return for good health.

tests showed the rate i was working to get the prints out, i just went to far, as the doc said, it was an heartattack waiting to happen.lol

it was my job, so without help from a junior, i still had to get the plans out to the workmen,i just went into fast mode, to get finished. a big mistake

no one to blame, only myself,all i could do was give in my notice, and for the month left teach a new man to do the job.

they took on a 60 yr old ex bus inspector,he was useless, and the week after i finished, and said goodbye in the pub to the lads, i rang a few days later, the man didnt come to work on the monday,

the boss wanted me to come back for a few weeks till they could get somebody. but as my sister was in bad health, i had become her carer, instaed of retiring.

she died a few years later of cancer. now i have the house, till its my turn to curl the toes,with a 32 yr old relation as my lodger, bbbiigg mistake.never have a relation as a guest or lodger,lol jim

Yes i agree with you on the lodger situation, as i have shared houses with other people and its always ended pretty nasty.


And that was very kind of you to look after your sister when you werent well yourself jim i bet you it was very hard on you watching someone you love die.

A couple of years ago we sat with my nan as she passed and i can still remember it like it was yesterday.

So what do you do through the day to keep you busy since your not working?Do you have any hobbies?

My children keep me constantly on the go and since we have only just moved into our new house the unpacking has kept me going aswell

dont think i ever had any to spaek of, i did at one time like to watch the formula 1 racing, but its got to yucky now with all the changes.not the same.

when i was younger i liked to tinker with the old type valve tvs, radios, and videorecorders.

i got the nickname, jim,l fixit.

my lodger is the one from h@ll, and as he,s on the rent book, i cant get rid of him lol

he,s always leaving taps running, and cooking,he normally sets the smoke alarm off, cant use an ironing board and iron,with leaving the iron and the board on the landing, i think you get the picture, he selfish, ignorant, and thinks he,s better than most,lol.i keep him at arms lenght.lol

there was a lady off the h2g2, that moved to aussie, angelicaheaven, she went to be near her daughter she gave up at birth, and lives near the family that adopted her. dont know where though.

i get up at 9am, then wash,shave, put the tv box on, make a cuppa, then check the 3 emails i have, then the h2g2.

if i can afford an hour at the cybercafe, i set off for town about 12-20ish, then after the cafe, i go for a cuppa and home around 4 or 5pm, then tea and sit and watch tv till bedtime, boring or what,lol.

we have a horror channel, so with luck there is an horror film i can watch.

i have a dvd player, but cant afford the films lol.

i must be the only person that hasnt a music disc in the whole house.used to get some like abba, queen and so on, secondhand, but always to scratched, so binned them.

in about a months time i will hit the 60 mark, and everything will have to be reasessed, i hate filling in forms lol.

i keep doing the local 3 picks(you need 3 numbers to win £450), i get one or two, never three.lol

Hi there,
the way you are describing your lodger he sounds like an asshole pardon the language.
Im a very fussy person to live with and also very houseproud, i like my place to look very neat and tidy but in saying that it is very hard to keep up with the kids well the 5 year old anyway as when i finish cleaning one room and start on the next when i go back the room i just cleaned is messy so do i give up or what?

And dont ever think your life is boring cause if you dont enjoy what you have then it only makes you feel like crap.

What music do you like to listen to?I pretty much like anything except country and opera,clasical ect.Do you like any aussie bands.?And if you can get your hands on some blank cds you could always download some music i cant remember the name of the site you would need to go into but i will ask my brother tommorrow.

Apart from your sister do you have any other siblings.
Im one of 4 children my sister Jodi is 34 then me 31 then my brother Michael is 27 and then Christopher is 24 or 25.
We all have children,brtween us all there is9 kids so at christmas time it is very expensive but we have agreed that this year we wouldnt buy for each of the kids as we will just worry about our own.

Do you win any money when you get the 2 out of the 3 numbers.


A few years ago we won $90,000 on powerball but we had so many debts that im afraid it all went on them,car loan ect.

Why do you have to be reasessed when you turn 60?

for a man its 65 retirment age, but certain things like where i get the pennies from, and the free buspass, change things at 60.has to be done.lol

rats as i call him, is name is robert, is a pain, he also as a motorbike, and now he starts work at 8am so he leaves at 7am, and wakes me on the way down the path, i dont get up till 9am.

i have no family left now, i had three sister, a bother. mother,father.

father died when i was three, one sister died in 1942 before i was born in 1947, another died in 1984, mother in about 197o, and my brother in 1967 abouts, all my aunts and uncles, about 10 in total, have all gone.i have rats mother, one of my sisters daughter, and a few neices and nephews in the lancashire area, wigan and golbornre.

so you could say, if tony isnt my son, then im the last.the family name will go on, with two of my brothers lads, one married, one still on the shelf.lol.

i cant afford to get bored, have to keep going if i only go down the street ofr a mates next door, and he,s selling up and moving away.my niece,rats mother moved a few weeks ago to sutton on sea.
