Hi Kylie.
Nice to hear from you from the other side of the world. I guess that when you are all sleeping I'm up and running (although I have hurt my leg, recently, hobbling, is that English? I don't know anymore (been living in Germany for too long!!)
I hope you enjoy your move. Weddings, Holidays and Moving are the most stressful things someone can do - so ... take it easy.
I can't tell you my name at the moment, because I've written a few things in this forum and if my boss finds out - I'll be in trouble. But I'm sure in time ... I too, have a daughter, she is called Klara and is 10 (just about to start her new school). Oh, and the boys ... Tom (8) and Ben and Miles (7) ... all very different (from temperament and they all look slightly different (perhaps I should start looking at the postman, milkman, DHL Man??)
Does Lola keep you up at night? Is Amber jealous of Lola? How big is Wollongong? Sounds very exciting ... better that Golden Bay (RE Neighbours)? Sorry to be so cliché, but we don't get many programmes from Australia here. Have to have a look at Google Earth.
Is your new house in Wollongong? And is it more town or village?
Get back to me, between packing all those boxes!! And don't forget to CLEAR YOUR CLUTTER!!
ME
PS: Thanks for the bread thing. Are you an Aussie?

Howdy Einmoto,I will try and answer all of your questions as best i can.OK here goes Yes i was born in Australia but my father was born in England and his father born in Ukraine as for my mam she was born in Australia, not sure about her father as we dont speak(my mam and i that is)which is a good thing.Yes Lola does sleep through as she is a very good, happy baby And Amber was very jealous at first and it took her a while to adjust but all is good now.She has become very helpful but in saying that she can be quiet a handful. She starts her 1st year at school next year and she is very much looking forward to that as she has cousins that go to the same school.Wollongong is a pretty big area with many little suburbs surrounding and we live in Corrimal which is a 10 minute drive to wollongong. And wollongong is a town. The house we are in now is 2 minute walk to the beach but when we move to the new house which is also in corrimal it will be a 5 minute drive to the beach.I hope this is all making sense to you?
You also sound like you have a busy life with 4 children.Do they keep you on your toes? Are you german ?What are your interests? If you get this mail now you can reply as its only 8pm here but i will be going to bed in an hour or so we have a very early start tommorrow.

Hi Kylie.
Nice to hear from you again. Thanks for the info about your family - certainly all mixed up there, similar to mine. Mother German, Father English and I am still British although I've been living here in Germany for the last 15 years or so. My children can decide when they are 18 which nationality to adopt!
Shame about you and your mum (mam). Someone there to help occasionally with the children is a god send. My mother-in-law is great (sometimes very annoying, but it means that I can work again). But how does that saying go: you can't chose your family, only friends!
Is it really nice to live near the beach or sea? Or after a time, do you take it for granted and hardly visit. I remember that living in London meant that we hardly ever went to London proper: ie: Big Ben, Millennium Eye, Houses of Parliament.
Yes we live a really hectic life here but all said and done, quite harmonious most of the time. We have a large garden (6000 square metres) a small swimming pool and this year we bought a trampoline for the children (and the adults too!!) In addition to the four children we also have an elderly relative of my wife who lives with us, separately but in the same house. Sometimes she drives me up the wall! (are you familiar with this saying?)
My interests are painting and writing and reading. I've got a great job for the local town and when I've finished my work (19,5 hours per week) I go home and sit in the garden (near the pond) and relax. Okay, not that you think I'm a total looser, I have recently started Karate, but also do Tai Chi and very occassionally I ride horses. (Met my wife at a riding school - very romantic, isn't it? Where did you meet you partner? And tell me if you work (not as a mother) and any hobbies that you might have or thinking about starting.
It is now 22.49 MET (middle European Time) what time is it there?
Take care and enjoy your day

hi there ME,hows it going?(or as us aussie say)Whats going on?Sorry for the delay in mailing you back as we had a very hectic day yesterday with all the packing as we only have a few days left now (the move is next tuesday)and the kids wouldnt let me have a moment to myself.
As for living near the beach, yes we do get down there a lot but havnt been able to lately as its winter here at the moment and its too cold.Although Amber and Ricky(my partner)love the beach im not that keen as im a sook and hate the sand,as it gets in places im sure you can imagine thats very uncomfortable.
Drives me up the wall, yes im VERY familiar to that saying.I dont use that one much and the ones i do use i cannot write on hootoo.
I met my partner through one of my brothers and we have been together for 8 years this september. We keep saying to each other that we are due for a trade in hahahahahah. No only joking.
And no im not working at the moment, but i am going back to work next year when my daughter(Amber)starts kindergarten)I am a qualified(AIN)assisting in nursing,i usually work in nursing homes. Not sure if thats what i want to go back into though. There are plenty of jobs here so it wont be hard for me at all to find something.
My interests are reading also i have just finished reading the last of the Harry Potter series and wont start reading anything else until we are settled in the new house.I also love music and listen to anything except classical or country.
Dont really have any hobbies at the moment as to busy with kids and when i do get time to start one i have no idea at the moment what that will be
Its 4.20pm and im not sure of the time difference i think its 9 hours
HAve fun ,talk soon

Hi Kylie!
Glad to hear that the packing went well and I was sure that was the reason. If you don't hear from me in the next few days, it will be because we are going/driving to England (some 1000 km) not that far in Aussieland, I know. But my sister has internet!!
You said it was cold (winter) at the moment ... what is cold? Cold here in Germany is around -10 to -15 C. With lots of snow most years. You wrote to, that you are a "sook"? What's that ... probably slang??
It is the height of summer at the moment and it's bloody cold here. About 16C and most of the time it is raining - should have gone and lived in Greece. But there it is too hot with forest fires!!
That is hard work, working as a nurse, I bet!! But also forfilling, too. I also thought about going into nursing while in London, but I decided at the time against it, don't know why. What would you like to do instead? Open your own home? When I first arrived here in Germany I worked in a home for handicapped people ... that was enjoyable, but I also learnt a lot about myself.
Perhaps, like me and because you are young (31 is young, don't forget), you will appreciate classical music when you are older. When you get settled in the new mansion/villa you might like to listen to Vivaldi 4 Seasons. Very easy listening! I even like a little opera - sing it myself in the shower (in Italian) - my children find this hilarious!!
And country music ... I was/am sure that I was a cowboy in a previous life, but that is a whole different story!!
I always thought that, because Australia was on the other side of the world it would be 12 but I was wrong. I've just woken up. I think I told you that I have the flu and we want to drive to England this morning at 1 or 2 am. I went to the doctors yesterday and got some tablets if it gets worse. Looking forwards to seeing my sister again and eating fish and chips and doing a little shopping. Some stuff you can't get here.
I wrote a few other threads on HooToo. One was imagine that you have 1,000,000 Aussie Dollars - what would you do with it, exactly? Long list please when you get time. And the second thread was about "Attraction" what we say and what we wish for, we get! So be careful what you write down.
Hope the move isn't too stressful. I went on google earth yesterday and had a look at where you live ... it looks so different from where I live. And the town and the beach looks great - despite the sand!!!???!!
Take care
Einmoto

HI,i wish i could just jump in the car and drive to England.
The temperature in winter here can drop to a low 10-15 C.And can get as high as 20-25 C. And where i live it doesnt snow,we have to drive for about 6 hours to get to the snow. But in summer it can get very hot, anywhere from 30-35 C and a couple of years ago it reached a scorching 45 C and to make it worse it was very windy(but a very hot wind). And on that day we spent it swimming at our local swimming pools.Too hot for the beach as there is no shade and the sand was toooooooo HOt to walk on the sand that day.
A sook is someone we call a cry baby.
As for what to do when i go back to work,im not sure,i do have a few things to choose from(sales, waitressing, bar work and nursing)but i have at least 5 months to decide.
As for the 2 new threads you started i coulnt find them but i will answer the questions at a later date.
Must be of as bubs is very upset
talk soon
Back again from England with new name ...
Einmoto - CoachAntony Posted Aug 29, 2007
Hi Kylie.
Back again from England - did try to log in there, but I forgot my password so I am now called Zweimoto ... but you can call me Antony if you like.
Driving to England (1,000 km) was a real pain in the bum, but I don't want to be a sook!! Next time I promised the kids that we would fly. My sister got married in Las Vegas a few weeks back, and for the poor relatives, she had a party in England. She really looked great and we all had a great time.
So how did the moving go? All the boxes unpacked?
Hope to hear from you again.
Antony
