Dumb youth
Posted Dec 6, 1999
Oh what a pathetic world we live in.
The youth of today, their minds polluted by good ol' American values, means that today's icons are people that 'look pretty' and are essentially imprinted on our minds through the medium of advertising.
Today's world is one where stupidity rules. It is generally the stupid people who are lauded as those we should look up to. The only possible exception to this is Stephen Hawking, who is regarded as brilliant, but no-one probably knows what he does (he is a physicist who specialises in black holes).
So if you want to be remembered by today's young generation, you just have to do something incredibly stupid. Did you notice at school, that the most stupid people were always the most popular?
That's enough bitching for today. I just hope that another phenomenon comes along that changes the world for the better (a la the Beatles), or the world will surely face implosion soon.

These are the days of my life
Posted Nov 20, 1999
And dull they are indeed. I am at the University of York (in England, for all you dumb Americans that don't understand geography or... anything, come to think of it) studying a Computer Science degree, and my days consist of getting pissed and sleeping. A lot.
Although I do attempt to alleviate the boredom occasionally, like last Wednesday I went go-karting, and in a dramatic break with tradition actually won the whole event, and came back with a bottle of champagne. And today, well I should be playing squash right now, but forget to set my alarm correctly. B'oh!
