remember NEWT?

NEWT was an early message sending system designed and run only At Coventry (lanchester) poly in 1984/5. Most of the contributers would be destined to fail their courses and went their own ways. I cannot believe that those people would not have moved on to bigger an better things.
Anyone out there?
