Allo,

Hangover from hell, just saw you and thought I'd say hi. Which I have. Actually I said allo but that's close enough. Mmmm, David Bowie as the Goblin King or a screaming baby you don't even like, tricky.

Anyway, I had been sitting here trying to remember something and was just about to go and check when I saw you and figured you'd know.

Am I having a false memory or was Elrond known as Elrond Half Elven? And why.

It is also vital that you know thatsmiley - redwine+smiley - bubbly=smiley - hangover

Welcome to the madhouse.

Ellie.

Hi Ellie, and thanks for the welcome. And yes indeed Elrond was indeed known as Elrond Half-elven, (Peredhil in the Elven tongue) because he was genetically part elf and part human.

smiley - cheers

I've got the Tolkien Bestiary somewhere which would have told me but I seem to have lent it to someone.

If I'd started looking in the books I would have started reading them again and I have to find a new job not lounge about reading.

Of course h2g2 is a really good use of my time!!!!!!

In honour of the Pirate theme on the Front page I will say that the sun is over the yardarm and I'm off to find a smilie that means rum.

bye, Ellie.
