My Summer Holiday
Posted Aug 28, 2008
My Summer Holiday has nearly ended, I have a week left. In a way I want to get back to school because I like being with my friends but in another way I don't, it is nice to have time away from all the hard work and just relax at home and have some family time.
This Holiday I have been with friends, playing out, going to each others houses and going on holiday and just relaxing.
We have gone to Honeysuckle Farm which was really fun. We got to feed animals and I got to cuddle some sheep! I love sheep and while I was sat on a haystack I was feeding the sheep and cuddling them it was so fun. I was also feeding Goats and Fish.
In Beamish we had fun to. I went with Mum, Dad, Heather, Nanna and Grandad. It is all Victorian, you can go into a victorian town and it was so cool, you went on a Tram and you got to go into the Bank and all kinds of shops. All the people were dressed up in Victorian clothes and it was just so fun! There were lots of places in Beamish but the town was my favourite!
Me and Heather went on holiday with Nanna and Grandad to Ingoldmells, it was really fun, even though we didn't have the greatest of weather we still got on the beach. Me and Grandad went swimming(even though the sea was nearly a mile away from the beach tent where Nanna and Heather were) but we still had a new good hours in the water. Before me and Grandad went swimming I would put my wetsuit on and Heather would put her swimming costume on and we would go for a little swim near the tent, there was a long bit of sand what dipped down and there was water in it, just enough water for me to swim in and Heather would come with me.
We have had a good holiday and I hope everyone that reads this has to!

York Dungeons
Posted Jul 12, 2008
Hey everyone,
Me and some people in my class got the chance to go to York for the day, well the whole class did, we were allowed to go shopping then go places and after lunch we got to go to York Dungeons. I couldn't say no! So yesterday me and some of my class (people who weren't scared to go) and some of the other class got on a coach out side of school and we set off for York at 9 minutes past 9! It took about an hour and half to get there. I was sat next to Sam my friend(not boyfriend as Heather thought he was)and we were behind my best friends Hollie and Aymee. When we got to York we went round some shops with the teachers. When we got to The Shambles we were allowed to go shopping by our self. We had half an hour then we had to meet the teachers at the end of the street. I bought Cheeky Monkey a chocolate duck, Mum some Chocolate buttons(they were in an expensive bag and a little more expensive than Cadbury's buttons) and I got dad some Edinburgh shortbread. I didn't have enough money for myself after that(hehe) but I didn't mind because I was going to have a scare in York Dungeons!
After lunch we all split up, boys with the male teacher and girls with the female teacher, we were going in. We had to wait for the boys to get ahead of us a little bit so some people got glow sticks from the lady at the counter. Then we had to wait outside the surgery, a lady came to us and made us jump and we all screamed! IT WAS SCARY. She picked me out of the whole 11 of us and said
"Right you have got the plague you will be alright near this dead man" he had just died of the plague as well, and so she said
"Do you want to pull back the cover?" So I said,
"No" but I had to anyway! So I did, and it was disgusting he was ripped open and she pulled his guts out! And then we had to go to the court room, (there were other rooms but I can't really remember them) The judge was talking about how naughty some people were and he picked me!!! I had to go up in the dock and stand there. He was saying how I was stood near the Minister and I flicked bogies at him! I was found guilty and he made every one boo at me! Then we were going into other rooms, they were all really scary but a great laugh! At the end we were in this room, there was a man talking but you couldn't see him because it was pitch black. We found out this was Dick Turpin. Me and my friend were holding hands we were that scared! Then he appeared, he was hanging on a piece of rope, then the benches tipped and I fell off. This women came up to me and stood there and I looked up and screamed! She was the dead mans wife and it was soo scary! Then we got lead out. There were other scary bits but at the meet I will tell people if they go, and if people want to know just tell me!!
IT WILL BE FUNNY!!!

Clarinet exam
Posted Jul 24, 2007
Today I got a phone call and it was from my clarinet teacher.
(I had my first a clarinet exam about six weeks ago.)
She was telling me about my marks, she said that you have to get 100 marks to pass and 120 marks to pass and get a merit with it, guess what I got 121, so I have passed and got a merit as well.
My mum and dad say they are very proud of me and my mum was so proud that she started
I am soooo proud of myself!!!!!
