Hi Kitty, your name was put there after I very cautiously dipped my little toe into the scalding water of 'The Hellfire Club' thread. I nervously said 'Hello' then retreated back into my corner. You kindly said 'Hello' back to me and advised me to put some info on my portfolio about myself. So, I took your advice, and that is why your name's there.

As for work on my pofo, I'm working on a couple of pieces that should be ready soon, but to tell you the truth I feel a little nervous about putting them up for scrutiny. However, that's what I joined for, so I'll just have to take the rough with the smooth.

Anyway, thanks for stopping by, sorry I wasn't in when you called; feel free to pop in at any time...I'll stock up on Jaffa cakes.

Hi Albe,

Hellfire - that was brave - I wondered where I had spoken to you. Hellfire is all shouting and raging with no substance - just a bit of fun - but it can get a bit rough at times for newbies who sometimes feel they are being picked on.

It is a bit nerve wracking when you put up your first peice of work but after that it gets much easier. People are generally very kind - which is both good and bad. You will find you get quite general crits on the Review circle. If you want more detailed ones I suggest you join a group. I belong to Candid Critters and boy do you get tough crits there!

My work on the site is mainly flash stories - for the flash challenge. Away from the site I write screenplays - both short films and feature length. I'm stuck on a new film at the moment which is why I logged on for five mins.

I hope you're settling in - feel free to chat on Hellfire anytime - and if Rod shouts at you just shout back!

Hmmmmm - jaffa cakes - my reputation for biscuits is obviously spreading!
