Aceon9, why do you come to a site that seeks only to talk about things and then condemn those who do? You continually talk about those who want to talk about it intelligently as *intellectuals* who you look down upon. Why?

I don't look down on anyone, I found this site by way of The Essex posting, i had no intention of being political. I was sold on the idea of a friendly community only to find a bunch a U.S. haters that ONLY view our government as evil war mongers drunk on power and money, leaving absolutely no room for an idea that they may actually have panicked after 911 envisioning the worst....dirty bombs, nuclear armed suitcases, MORE anthrax and other chemical/biological weapons being set off at will on American soil, a melting pot of Americans living in fear everyday as do so many around the world.
I know I know, if we didn't stick our nose where it didn't belong 911 would never have happened.
Israel should fight there own battles, forget about the 1000nds of years of persecution they have suffered, OIL/money is the motivating factor for all US actions.
Nobody should even consider that if the US doesn't have influence over arab nation someone else will, lets all forget how Soviet Union made there push to control the region, lets not consider the effects a country like that would have had on the region/world if they were calling the shots. Self preservation is never a factor in the world because it is all one big happy community, Russia, China, North Korea are all just busting to give everyone a big hug,Indonesia just wants to be loved, their banking industry is just misunderstood, Iran only wants nuclear energy, they would never consider threatening anyone, All just one big "Cultural Mosaic"

You haven't seen this one on the headlines yet but you will be glad to know that our war against terrorism has just taken a turn for the worse, a large portion of the money for the Tsunami will be heading straight into the hands of our enemies it is unfortunate that it won't go where it was inteneded to go. I can't give you a website on this as it is only my opinion.

I only have a few minutes before I have to go back to work so I'll have to be brief.

I apologise for the entire site if you think that we are all US bashers who use statistics and links to try and prove a point. Believe me we are not all the same, in fact the huge diversity of this site is what attracted me to it.

The other reason I was attracted here was the fact that the wildly different ideas expressed by those members is often called into question. Note I said called into question there and not *attacked*. If someone disagrees with you, or me, or anyone they have to abide by rules. I can say *He/she/they are wrong!* but I'll soon get someone who says either *Prove it!* or *No, YOU are wrong because of a, b, c.* or both.

It's a good place full of lots of different people. If you are frustrated or tired of one place, just unsubscribe and go to another!
