If you're in the area please feel free to come along. At the moment there's not much interest, so it appears to be a couple of h2g2-ers, a couple of ZZ9-ers, and about six of my friends who are tagging along for the . Fingers crossed nobody will mind! Don't feel pressured to come along, of course, but I love meets. It's what really solidifies these online relationships into something that, nearly six years later, I'm still here for.

I live in Hull but have close friends in Leeds who are always bombing back and forth. I also have quite breathtaking levels of stubbornness and am fairly immune to pressurisation, er, in the social sense anyway. I find the idea of a meet fascinating as much as anything else. I've not been on message boards much before and finding people you like and can talk to but have never seen is a weird experience. Not entiely dissimilar to getting your wisdom teeth for some reason The first week I was on here there was a mini meet in Hull. I found out about it on the day! It was odd. I was at work and couldn't go.
