No sweat, hang in there, some of us have morals and a sense of justice. You just have to dig us out - sometimes we don't realise we're a minority.
Good weekend. or two.

Bloody cholesterol, or not an imbiber?
We ARROGANT tipplers of all drinks hearty, invite all suppers of watery, tasteless fizz (otherwise known as cold, alcaholic pee) to partake of the round, warm, femented yeastlyness of real ale.
Here endeth the lesson!
But... yes good weekend, thanks. Bar-B fun Sat eve.
Friends had been to an event where one of the guests was a real snob. Spoke all hoighty-toighty until she'd had a few and resorted to a twang of Yorkshire. They remarked that her accent was so false and all remembered that she'd said what sounded like 'chairs' when toasting.
It is now a compulsory which has the wonderful effect of confusing all foreign students of our terrific language.
Hope you feel better! Shall try to remain objective, or is it objectionable. Could be more fun!
Chairs, old sport!

My cholesterol is very good.
That's probably because I'm a non-smoker
Pleased to see you had a good weekend.
It would be more fun if people stopped hacking into my mobile.
Do you think BT will ever get rid of the virus?

I don't think BT will ever get rid of anything they're getting paid for.
Ever the optomist!
Wish we had a siesta. I always get tired about 1330hrs.
Loved the meteor storm - looked like cummulo stratus to me though.

Forgot to send you this, so...
Neighbours (Kipling)
From "Limits and Renewals" (1932)
The man that is open of heart to his neighbour,
And stops to consider his likes and dislikes,
His blood shall be wholesome whatever his labour,
His luck shall be with him whatever he strikes.
The Splendour of Morning shall duly possess him,
That he may not be sad at the falling of eve.
And, when he has done with mere living--God bless him!--
A many shall sigh, and one Woman shall grieve!
But he that is costive of soul toward his fellow,
Through the ways, and the works, and the woes of this life,
Him food shall not fatten, him drink shall not mellow;
And his innards shall brew him perpetual strife.
His eye shall be blind to God's Glory above him;
His ear shall be deaf to Earth's Laughter around;
His Friends and his Club and his Dog shall not love him;
And his Widow shall skip when he goes underground!

I am extremely friendly to my friends and neighbours and all people off line.
Conclusion:
You won't be seeing me here for a while
(Please don't take IT personally)
Bye.

My purpose was to bolster your resolve against some of the hostility encountered on-line. Thinking you liked poetry. No sleight intended.
I shan't take it personally.
Enjoy the break.

That was very kind of you plodrog and I appreciate your help, thank you. I've had time to read the poem now and I like it.
Did you write it yourself?

I think your stress has obscured the objectivity and ability to absorb, it's understandable. Must have been really peed off. What empty vessels you came accross. 'Into every life a little rain must fall', eh? Oh well, read the poem I've added whilst...
I read an article the other day about bullying in web chat rooms. One bloke had over 200 hits where they'd jumped in without reading the preamble and unfairly sided with some ass. Some were from his own office would you believe? Pleased to report that he received 140 plus apologies.
I witter on sorry, but no, if you re read the posting you'll see that I have accredited such fine work to Kipling. He's one of our forgotten poets because lots of the subject matter surrounded WW1 and such, not fashionable at present. Most famous poems I suppose are 'If' and 'Gunga Din'.
AS stated above - Have one to cheer you further;
Kalidasa: The day.
Listen to the Exhortation of the Dawn!
Look to this Day!
For it is Life, the very Life of Life.
In its brief course lie all the
Verities and Realities of your Existence.
The Bliss of Growth,
The Glory of Action,
The Splendour of Beauty;
For Yesterday is but a Dream,
And To-morrow is only a Vision;
But To-day well lived makes
Every Yesterday a Dream of Happiness,
And every Tomorrow a Vision of Hope.
Look well therefore to this Day!
Such is the Salutation of the Dawn!
Absorb this one and you must feel good - I hope so. Stay strong.

Oh yes! I've read that one before thank you.
The belief that my brother was killed by some stoopid twits on the internet has only been proven.
Apart from that I am not expecting any apologies from anyone, apart from the government, perhaps.
I salute you and your friends.

Thank you all for your help
I won't have any qualms about calling the police, the fire brigade or anyone else for that matter, especially if people come bothering me for no good reason.
Have a nice day.

Apologies for LS's interruption plodrog, she usually acts on behalf of the police or social services.

There are none so blind as those who will not see.
Not my words but - I liked it.
A happy non-birthday to all our readers.

Some may see but they didn't look!
I have so much to write
Not much time to fight
Get ready for the flight
Fly off and get it right
I'm a little poet
Why don't you let me show it
Go oon, you can add the last two lines
