Hi Fujimar (Wayne)
Just thought I'd have a random lurke in 'who's online' and dropped in with or and to say hulloo.
Not only can I find Church Greasley; but I once actually stored my caravan there for the duration. It saved the local villains knowing when I'd gone away.
Amazing how it takes one to know one (a Derbyshire-ite that is) or are you classed as Leicestershire?

Hi Fujimar!
There's obviously some cushy jobs around after all - I never have time to chat at work; although much time is spent on computers and the internet.
I live about 8 miles from Matlock.
What do you do that gives you time to chat at work?

Goods in clerk just wait for lorrys to deliver stuff then put the information into the computer.
What do you do that doesn't give you the time to mess about

Your'e not goin to like this!!
Computer fixer/Secretary/ex-haulage contractor administrator - like making sure those lorries actually get where they're supposed to be going
Unlike the guy last week who turned up at Ripley in Cornwall, couldn't find the place he was supposed to be delivering to; and then found out he should have been in Yorkshire. ye gods!!
Are you at the airport then?

Branston! I know it well! my Hubby has been a trucker all his life and he used to stop at some pub in Branston (could it have been the Branston Arms) on his way home. One night I had to take the car to the pub (cos he'd had too much of the amber nectar) and drive his wagon back to his base in Derby (no licence you understand; but I'd driven off-road for years in trucks) then get a taxi back to fetch the car. Ye gods what I did in my youth doesn't bear thinking about does it?
Hope you find something you want - what are you looking for?

Look back a couple of messages, it tells you there!
My other half says make sure you get yourself the most important piece of lorry driving equipment that you can possibly need - namely a large stainless steel flask. When you've had to wait to follow the snow plow out of Scotland, you never go anywhere without flask!!
Are you going in for Class 1? ie bender.

Sorry after a couple of weeks in a conversation I forgot that we already talked about that.
Now days you have to take class 2 first but I'm going for them both.
My dads a driver and the last thing he does before work is fill his flask.
Finding it a pain to do all the work and fit it into my busy schedual.

What time do you call this? Thought you only had access at work! Do you work nights too?
Your Dad's obviously a wise man! fill flask last and it keeps hot longer
Just how busy is your schedule then - don't seem to be many waggons in tonight if you've yet more time to spare talking to idiots like me at this time in the morning.
Take care
ps don't forget the and for my Birthday

Broadband's fast if you haven't got too much 'crap' slowing it down. Have you cleared your temporary internet files lately?
Don't wish to be a bore but I don't know how informed you are.
If you aren't too into this sort of thing, let me know. The amount of stuff in those files can slow the PC down no end. Its really easy to delete these files without any trouble; so if you need to know how, just say so and I'll help.
'Birthdays' with a handle like mine you should already know - Halloween, - the local kids are already shouting to me in the street "are you the witch?" They know I won't give them money; but I always have chocolates (present from somebody or other) and I make witchie cakes, usually either blue or green with black icing on in the shape of cats or moons and things. Its really fun. I go to the door with my tarot cards and the kids love it.
Talk soon
take care
