h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I've just finished sub-editing your entry A3213073.

Although I've had to play around with the layout a bit - to conform with the house style - most of it stays as is.

However, bearing in mind the international nature of visitors to h2g2, I've added a few explanatory footnotes for some colloquialisms, as well as some things that are not immediately obvious from the text (such as Wi-Fi), and others that are not that well-known outside the US (such as the works of Craig Thompson). I also had to remove a couple of your 'notes', as their content veered towards personal opinion, whereas the Edited Guide is supposed to be factual (albeit sometimes with a personal slant).

I hope it all still makes sense, and that I haven't altered your intended meaning in any way. If I have, please let me know and I'll do my best to correct anything.

Just one thing: you only mention the Winterfest in passing. Did you want to add a paragraph about that to the list of events? (At the moment there's just a brief footnote.)

Just to let you know, following the advice of the Editors, I had to remove the reference to drug dealers.

It's not BBC policy to allow anything on h2g2 that would promote illegal activity.
