hi psi
I came across this summary of Desire Utilitarianism endorsed by another proponent of it who says:
'If I happen to disagree with Alonzo Fyfe on the matter, rest assured that the proper application of the theory is his. Mine must be either insufficiently thought out, or born of a misunderstanding of my own.'

a fan indeed - by such critical thinking does meta-ethics progress...

hi psi
Started on the body of the text beginning with
'There is no value without desire.
there is no prescription without desire'
and stalled immediately.
Is there some axiom of philosophical Woo-Woo that says
1.'Terms when first used should never be defined'
2. Implied relations between terms should nevber be explained
for to do either will dispel your philosohical mojo.
