I'm lonely so far...I mean I haven't got any messages to my guide yet...Can I ask you a stupid question? Can I creat a guide and a journal at the same time? I mean can I have them both? (Well, to tell you the truth, I've alreay created them both!)

Yes, you can create both, The difference is, that you can edit (i.e. change/correct) an entry, but nothing else. No post, no journal. You can remove a journal entry, but it will only be 'hidden', not vanished if somebody has replied to it. Generally, what is posted stays onsite forever.

I've seen that you're looking for Thomas here. You'll find him here:

U9040301 maybe you searched for Thomas, but his nickname is Paulchen Panther (a well-known comic strip figure. I think it's called the pink panther in English).
Thomas seems to be offline right now though, probably because it's late here in Germany. It must be even later in the Ukraine.

h2g2 is not a message board like the ones you're used to, and it's open 24/7 except for when they upgrade or something, I think there's a downtime every Sunday night, but that's well past my bedtime.

And no, I can't read your mind - nor Thomas' mind. He said he had asked you to sign up here, told me your name and that was it. So I had a look at his last recent conversation on the Learning English message board, and lo and behold, there you were. That's how I found you, and that's how I knbew you were looking for Thomas here.
I guess I'll be up for a while yet.
