Welcome to h2g2 – not just the friendliest on-line community but an incredibly huge, living, breathing guide to Life, the Universe and Everything. It’s compiled by researchers just like you and it's something YOU can take part in. You can write entries on all manner of subjects, and if it's something you think would look good in our Edited Guide (where all the best research goes), you can submit it to Peer Review Take a look at the <./>writing-guidelines</.> for more information on that.

I hope when you get to know us a little better you'll open your personal space and tell us a little about yourself - but there's no rush - and it's not compulsory

BTW - the message you have left entitled "I am alive for everyone" has been posted to your own space - that's like writing a letter to the world and leaving it on the the notice board in your room - no one will see it unless they visit but it would make a great opening for your space and then you can add to it later

Oh, and don’t forget to bookmark not only your space but the H2G2 <./>FrontPage</.> - it’s a great way to stay in touch with what’s happening and leads to all sorts of corners which you may otherwise miss.

I am sure that you will love this community as much as we do There's lots of things to see, clubs to join and people to meet - please don't be shy - just jump right in - this is a friendly place. But be careful - it can become quite addictive - believe me I know

Thanks for advice!!! But i am not interested in being popular in the world.Just i am alive for everyone ...if they need to know me, then welcome to everyone, i cant explain myself to people.Everyone likes being understood and i am greatat it.

What kind of information i need to write about myself?

You don't have to write anything about yourself if you don't want to.

Have a look at other people's spaces to see what they write - as I said, just "Hi" is enough to open your space and then, as you get more comfortable with this place you can add in whatever you like.

Some people mention their interests, or where they come from, or whatever you like ... look at it as an introduction to someone you meet - whatever you feel comfortable with

First of all - it is not my job - we ACEs are volunteers and are not online all the time. I am in Australia so, because of time zones it is unlikely that you will get an immediate response anyway.

You seem a bit desperate - have you had a look around the site?

I note that you have not opened your space - have you looked at the New Researchers link that I left you? A719840 will take you there with lots of hints on how this place works.

To make the best of this place you need to get out and meet people - it's just like real life - if you sit in your room (your personal space) and just post messages there, no one will see except you - get out and get involved and people will visit you and you can visit them (or not - as you like
