I have taken the liberty of reading your Personal Space. I hope this is not too intrusive for you.
As a 65 year old married man, retired from daily labours, I find myself reading your transcripted thoughts with much interest. What I see there, I also saw just now in your latest piece of work. I share all that wonder, as, I suspect, almost everyone on h2g2 does. It is that shared feeling of wonder and mystery that brings them, like iron-filings to a magnet, to this very domain!
Stay with us, we of like minds!

Your writing is wonderful in terms of expression, and only needs a touch more refinement to be of a very high standard. We English, or more correctly, British, have a problem in our education system which results in too many children leaving school who cannot read well and often cannot string a line of words together. It is slowly improving after governmental action, but the 'culture' of peer group pressure not to study (It's not 'cool' to be able to read or write or to want to learn anything, in certain schools!). Even the levels of adult literacy are deplorable, as the system has been flawed for many years. Coming down to hard facts it is the total lack of self or any other form of discipline that perpetuates these problems. Your standard of English is greatly superior to that of most of the population of our so-called 'educated' society.
