I'm really impressed with your taste in music/singers, and really pleased to hear you also hate Bjork! Did you ever see "Spitting Image" and their *take* on her?
You must be my generation, my older daughter is 29, #2 daughter is 27 and I have sons of 23 and 14, and a grandson aged 10½.

Of course I'd love to be on your friends list.
I have no grandchildren yet (it is looking extremely unlikely that I ever will have) My older daughter prefers a career - my son is 'not ready to settle' he says, and my youngest daughter has just spent 9 months backpacking around New Zealand, and flew out to Australia last week to do the same there.
I like to think that I have quite broad musical tastes, but I do love a good power ballad!
