Well, all you have to do is read some of the postings- they pretty much tell you all about me.I like a lot of music of very varying kinds, read a lot , go to art college as a mature student , and look after my daughter and cat.I live by the sea and it's very quiet most of the time,(not now because it's whitsuntide hoildays and we have a lot of tourists visitng ).When daughter goes to bed, I sit in the study and tap at this little laptop for a while- sometimes too long a while!!!!

Said hello to my adorable 16 year old for you!.
I used to live in a city but my grandparents had the house I'm now living in, so we could always take a break here.
It's not on the shore ,but there's just heathland between us and the sea, so we can hear the waves breaking on the beach if the night is still.(it's often so windy that you can't hear the sea at all).
The city is good to live in if you're 18 - 30 and after that you don't need the excitement that much and crave peace and quiet!!!
There's something to be said for regular buses and nearby shops , swimming pools and bowling clubs ,when you're young.I loved the hustle and bustle of town when I was a teenager and it's nice to visit for a couple of days now, but then i'm glad to get back home.
Do you like town life?Do you go shopping & swimming with friends?

dear jwg
i do enjoy the city but its often too crowded and you just have to get away from the noise and traffic sounds although i do like to hang around with friends i luv to go swimming i won the fastest swimmer award in my club that i go to last week! i do like the city but near the sea is my idea of a little peace and plus its a healthier option beacause you can take deep breaths and in the city theres so much pollution...
anyways pls write back soon..
p.s. sorry i couldn't talk last week i found out that my mum, dad, sister and grandpa were deadsorry have 2 go

Sorry if I'm being too nosey ,mastermary, but could you explain post 10 please? A quote from "The Importance of being Ernest" springs to mind, but I don't want to be flippant if you're being very serious about what you said there.
Who do you live with ?
in answer to a couple of other questions of yours, my favourite food is chocolate, preferably 85 % dark choc. After that ,s'pose it'ss roast lamb, mashed potatoes and 4 veg.
I have had a few jobs, the last one being running the family shop. Now,I'm a carer for my daughter, and that's a full time occupation.
If you don't mind me asking, how old are you?(I'll tell you mine if you tell me yours!)
