Just checking to see how you are doing these days.
Over here, I'm still hanging in, and still writing.

Hi there Annie,
I'm OK, wondering how I shall survive after the GW lifeline is no longer there to keep me going...
Read your intro - wow, you must have been scared stiff. Also read that you wrote for the theatre, hence the dancer friend, I suppose. I too was in the theatre and have lost many many friends as I told you. The theatre and the people who work in it are more family in the end than blood family members. As shown in your piece.Racism, snobbishness, etc. just don't exist - it is the most family minded profession of them all, no matter what social sphere you come from, no what colour of your skin, no matter what religion you believe in. That is what I have always loved about it - the only thing that counts is the talent and the effort you are prepared to put in to get that show on to that stage. And even the bitchiness and backbiting contribute to the charm.
Anyway, it was great to hear from you and I hope you are OK.
Lots of love
Clarissa

Hi Clarissa,
Lovely to hear from you. Today I made a momentary foray into the Writers Dock world and posted a poem. I have not been able to really go there in my heart, although many writers are active and busy posting there, and seem very happy, so that's good. But I have discovered two things in the past weeks:
1) I really like it here, so I am trying to make the most of the days left, and I am trying to write as much as I can and review as much as I can and participate in this great site while it is here.
2) I just don't write enough to post different things on different sites, and I guess I'm not completely there about going somewhere else when this is around still, and I've figured that I have plenty of time to go to WD when I want to.
However, the situation here has made it difficult to be as uplifted as I would like to be.
I did make a lot of friends and lost a lot of friends in theatre. I haven't actually gone back to playwriting for a while, although I keep planning to, because that's where all my writing inspiration initially got recognition. Lately I have really enjoyed poetry and the short 60 word fiction group.
Anyway, I do believe that theatre is magical and that is where I learned so much about how people behave, in a very open and unoppressed way.
Whereever you decide to go writing wise, please let me know! my email is abienatmindspringdotcom.
Best wishes to you this weekend,
love,
annie

annie,
thanks for your answer. Yes, a lot of GWers have joined Writer's Dock and there are quite a few good features.
I shall try out your e-mail address, if I have got it right, you will automatically have mine.
Hope you have a good weekend too
Love
Clarissa
