haha... chosen one... pft. No the chosen one was the lucky girl-lady-person who got to work the exibit. My mum, my brother and I were the ONLY people it that part of the meuseam (it was getting late) but now I'm at my other cousins' house. I was with Becki, William, and Ed before, and now I'm with Clair and hannah. And of corse my aunts and uncles...
But yeah, they have some of my uncles australian relitives staying here too. They leave today, but I asked the little girl Dannell (sp?) if she'd ever been to Melbourne(sp?) and she said once, and thats where the elevator door chopped off her dolls head. Yeah, the point is, |I was reminded of you Midnight, and your strange upside-down winter world(at the moment)
, and I actually got to here on Australian Accent that wasn;'t from the crocadile hunter, or a recording you made... although it came from a 6 year old, so i'm not sure it was a very good example. ("We putted the horses in the stabbles and the big bwown one kickeked me, and it hurted")

I'm sorry I haven't been online here for a while, but my holidays are over, so I should be on more often now.
I'm sitting here at the computer in my part of the boarding house waiting for the pizza guy to arrive because there are eight of us down here that are sick and tired of boarding house food, so we ordered pizza.
I'm so jealous of you, Fred, getting to go to that exhibit. I've still never been overseas... *mopes*
That story about the doll and the elevator is funny - although I don't think Melbourne is renowned for its' elevators or anything 
Which reminds me - I should make another recording of me for you guys. Just so you can hear my accent again or whatever it is you do with recordings like that

Fred - thank you so so so much for the postcard you send me from England!!! I got it this lunchtime - it was there on the table with all the other mail. I walked in, check it as I do every day, did a huge double-take and picked it up with trembling hands.
And read it about a zillion times, showed it to everyone and was basically very happy from that point to this. And I'm still very happy.
