Zaphod had 2 heads to split his personality... and you can do the trick with a net persona.. or do we say Icon? I wonder if you have a picture of Teleran... or at least an image of him in your mind.

Unless he's playing mysterious he's sort of the Ur-grandfather. Sort of an amalgamation of all the nifty cool old grandfathers that ever existed. White hair, kind smile, twinkle in his eyes. I picture him relaxing in a velvet smoking jacket before the fire drinking Congac or
something. The kinda grandfather who knows endless stories, gives excellent advice, has pockets full of gumdrops, and you're just certain that if you knew how his walking stick has a sword in it. Of course then there's mysterious... hooded robes, quiet voice, walks with an oak staff, smells faintly of mothballs. Either way he's the kinda grandfather who has magical wardrobes stored about the place. He's existed in most of my online writing in one form or another. It just worked out well, Teleran is actually the name of a guidance system...an accidental coincidence, for the mentor type persona he developed.
