hI Sophie 
. Not too bad today, I think - althoufgh it may still be a bit too early to tell. I deteriorated as the day went on yesterday, and was coughing quite violently by the end of the day. Hence decided to stay off w*rk again today. The 
has 'signed me off' 'til the end of the week but I really MUST get back before then, to plan some courses with my colleagues. The students come back on Monday 
is keen that I get out into the sunshine, which I may well try and do today. Lovely and warm outside

Well, possibly. See post351. However, I don't think Mrs BigAl wants me to return to w*rk just yet. She keeps saying I must stay here until I'm fiully fit. Trouble is, the irritated throat/cough seems to be continuing for a protracted length of time
