Dear Andmymare,
I've had a crack at your idea. I'm not really very materialistic so I chose one of my favourite foods and played with the idea of resisting eating it because I find them so beautiful. The idea is that by doing this I see the change a whole day's cycle from dawn to dawn would have on it. I've also attempted my first villanelle, so please be as honest as you like about this.
