Poole is a pretty 
place to live. Spent a couple of holidays there long time ago. We stayed in a flat on the High Street both times. 
to go back there sometime.
Went to Brownsea Island with my daughter- she was only 4, and we got chased by peacocks while we were trying to eat our lunch 
BTW, I'm an under 45 mad woman who lives on the coast in Sussex

I've been chased by Peacocks on the island, too... don't let 'em catch you, is my tip!
I worked on the Sussex coast when I was 18 - at Butlitz !!!

The Peacocks were quite scary I watched the programme the other week which showed Baden-Powell's first scout camp on the island.
What d'ye mean that's all we've got left? 
Anyway, I intend to grow old disgracefully
