Hey Deeety,
I'm the Professor, and I've been allocated you entry "How many holes..." for polishing before it gets published in the Underguide. I don't see many things that need changing, but you can track its progress at A4180475. Please ask any questions you have about the polishing and comment on it where you see fit.
It's been suggested by some of the Underguide staff that I include links to articles in the Edited Guide and elsewhere on the BBC pages. If you have any suggestions or any particular pages you'd like to see linked, please feel free to send me a note or simply post them here.
Thanks,
The Professor

Hi Professor,
I am thrilled to have this piece included in the UG and thank you for taking the time to polish it up. I have tried searching the internet for information on “human openings” but surprisingly there is very little. Maybe a link to http://www.bbc.co.uk/science/humanbody/body/ … a nice little site which shows us just how little we know about ourselves… Otherwise I cannot think of anything else…
Thanks again.
Deeety

Will do. I'll add that in and see what the Eds think about it.

I have now had two postings claiming that 9 is an incorrect number for females and thinking about it I think they are right. Do you think that this information should be included into the Entry. Something like:
1.….Well you may be surprised that the normal average non mutilated body can boast no less than Nine for Males and 10 for females
2. … no less than Nine (or should that be Ten)
3. Or maybe the actual number should be omitted so that readers can come to their own conclusions…
I sort of opt for (2),
What do you think?
