I was at the American Museum at Claverton nr Bath the other w/e and they had a very good re-enactment group who gave us a bit of the French, English, American, Indian 'wars'. They were very good and the attention to detail was fantastic. I particularly liked the canvas habitation coming from a company that sounds like a part of english grammar - past tense. One of the guys even had an original, in working order, Brown Bess.

Do live near by the museam it sounds great.

I was in the middle of this and the line went down I live in Dorset so it is not too far. Their web site is www.americanmuseum.org . They are only open pm and not on Mondays. A good collection including a genuine tavern.

This is a great site, are you going to join the re enactors
