Camped and hiked in the Lakes - a bit damp, perhaps the shore would have been better! HeeeeHeeeee. There is so much lovely country side 'Oop Nawth, tha' nose'. Well you do, don't you! Grandma and eggs arrive - sucks to you!
Its the Magic smiley - scary, well I doubt it, more......I'll think about it later

Hahahahhahahaha right, sorry,it looked scary to me hahahhahhaha (the smiley I mean ) I have to agree with you,it can be very wet in The Lakes, which, when you think about is all good, otherwise they'd be Puddles and not Lakes at all really hahahahahahaha (I saw MY fox TWICE last night !)

Your fox has a name then - 'TWICE' thats nice!
Hey - you have some great country quite close by without getting snarled up in the lakes or Herriot country.

I agree,Lancashire is a lovely county, the Trough of Bowland is one of my favourite places. It's about a 30 min drive from me.The Lune Valley is also extremely pretty. The Lakes isn't too far away though, about an hour in the car,if the traffics good !!! I feel very privileged to live so close to so much beauty So ! I do count my blessings often !! I'm away next week, for 1 week,a family wedding (up North,Sunderland)The good news is...I WILL return hahahhaha You'll know about it when I do !!! I'll write before I go !

If we don't catch each other before - have a good break/trip/wedding.
Our Dorset countryside is pretty good and on my doorstep and with the New Forest, Exmoor and Dartmoor close enough for a day trip.
Speaking of Lancashire - when I were a lad I had a holiday job with friends of my family. Tar spraying and gritting roads and we worked in the Haydock Park area for a while. Also on Saddleworth Moor (spooky) in 1965.

Have a great week in the garden, you take care x PS Saddleworth Moor, that borders onto Yorkshire, now that IS spooky hahahahahaha (War of the Roses and all that ! )

I'm glad it went well and it was not too onerous. I'm fine. Its been very quite - quite a few have been having probs getting on line and others have had to do some work. Still I've got through peer review with my entry and it is with the sub-editors and I've got one or two poems in the AWS.
I can't think for one moment that wicked and evil apply for one moment.
