Hello NAITA,
Anna here I'm just taking a look at your entry at A827525 and I'm a bit confused by the first sentence
'... the five of Easter, Ascension and Pentecost that are always on the same weekday...'
That's only three days, not five! Whereabouts do the two unaccounted for days attach themselves?

...because Easter consists of five days - Good Friday to, er, Shrove Tuesday (?), and also Ascension and Pentecost.... it would make more sense if Easter were at the end...

Okay, so I can't read - it's not that at all... Just ignore me...
...skulks off into a corner...

Eh? Now I'm even more confused. That's altogether too many days as public holidays, then. Which days are the public holidays?

It's actually quite simple. When I say public holidays I mean proper holidays, i.e. days off from work that I wouldn't have otherwise. So the footnote is misguiding, as I don't count saturdays either.
As mentioned later Easter holiday in Norway is from Thursday to Monday, which adds up to three extra days off, a five day weekend, but just three days off 'extra'. Ascension is just one day and Pentecost Monday is also just one day (Pentecost Day doesn't count since it's a Sunday).
I know it's a bit tricky to see immediately, but it looks better that way, and it's almost made clear by the rest of the entry. :D

Umm, the link to Christmas Presents (A827525) is broken. A space has snuck in in front of the Entry number.
Key: Complain about this post
