Saturday night

Well here's another Saturday night to be spent alone despite being with people. How is it that you can feel lonelier when you are with people than when you are truly on your own?
Then there's the fact that the other golden standby of the lonely - TV is full of football. So what do you watch instead? That's why I'm here writing to a machine in the hope that there will be a person out there to strike up a conversation with. There is someone that I would really love to talk to right now - but that can't happen so this is the next best thing. Oh dear, I sound like a really sad human and yet one of the things I like to do most is laugh - so anyone out there to help raise a smile.
