no idea

I'm not too sure what to write in this thing any more. I looked in a dictionary and it defines a journal as "A personal record of events or matters of interest, written up every day or as events occur, usu. in more detail than a diary". If I did that then few would survive reading the ordeal, I barely manage to get through the boredom of living it.

At the moment, whether I like it or not, it's probably a diary as no one else reads it. If someone else reads it, is it still a diary??? I'm confused. If someone else does ever read this, then please stop! You'll only confuse me further...

home

Am back home in London and it's good to be home. Of course in a few days I'll remember why I went away but until then I guess I should just enjoy the return to being able to afford to eat properly and other luxuries...

I'm planning on attempting an entry on the Berlin Wall. Perhaps I should point out I'm not obsessed with Berlin or anything, although it was great when I was there, but that someone pointed out the lack of an entry on it.

waiting

am currently in a hostel and waiting untill i have to leave for my train. for some reason i convinced my body last night that i have to get up REALLY early even though my train isn't till 11 and so am killing time. I've also made myself feel slighly sick by drinking an unnaturally large amount of coffee and drinking a bit too much last night didn't really help

all this shall be cured by sleeping through a five hour train journey i'm sure. i also have the knowledge that my first ever entry has made it into the edited guide (on checkpoint charlie). have to go - time.. running... out...

going away

I'm leaving London for about three weeks. So early tomorrow morning is my flight that I need to get to the airport tonight, I suppose this is what comes out of flying as cheap as possible. At the moment I've got the usual last minute nerves about leaving my home city. I've lived here all my life and half the time I've got no idea where I am, most of my time abroad is spent aimlessly wondering with no clue which bit of the map I'm on, but then there are many worse ways to spend my time.

Have to go, packing awaits, and with it that feeling that I've forgotten something really important. Oh well...

!!!

Today, for the first time ever, I won something! It was along with two other people on the radio station I listen to (6music). I can't remember the question, although the answer was 'Zoolander' and I have no idea what I won - although I don't really mind that much.

The closest I ever came to winning something was as a kid when I came second in a fancy dress contest. I was dressed as a blackberry bush and got my placement for originality but that bitch cinderella had to go and steal the show. I'm not bitter. Just need a few moments to repress my feelings a bit deeper.

All done
