Here’s how to do that ‘thing’!

I’ve noticed in your Conversations list you have not been visited by an ACE, strange! You should contact an ACE next time you’re on-line, they are a great bunch of people who will help you a lot with GuideML. Try to get an ACE that is in the same time zone , they are more likely to be around the same time as you.

The box is really a table. In hootoo search box, type in Tables and Boxes and search. You will get a wealth of information regarding tables and boxes .

Mean while ……… let's have some fun with GuideML ...

Go in to Edit Page, Body of Entry will be shown; now you have to change from Plain Text to GuideML.

Copy and paste this in to your PS; but you can only do this in GuideML;




Hello and Welcome Enjoy your stay

The ones that move across the page are called Marquees; now they are some thing, check this out, copy and paste as above ;

I've just remembered something, you can find out how a researcher has constructed his page; what you have to do is this.

Go to the address bar at the top of the researcher’s page, you will see the address like the one below (this is mine).

http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/brunel/U7375673

Now the last letter "U" is deleted = U7375673 and these words added – testuserpage – all one line so you end up with this =

http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/brunel/testuserpage7375673 now just click Go.

The researcher’s page will be shown in GuideML format. . Try it on my page.
