I was diagnozed with that condition at age 30.
Give your Mom a big from me. I'm 49, I wish I was 30 again!
remember you only have half your Mom's genes.
My Dad's got arthritis, but my Mom hasn't...they're 86 & 84
Hello by the way, I'm Galaxy Babe and I too, am alone, as in I don't share my bed with anyone but I do live with an 11 y.o. boy and have 3 adult children who've already fled the nest. Oh and an adorable grandson.
I'm in wet England, where everything is soggy.
I've been here (h2g2) for over 4 years and met many nice people through it.
With a bit of luck you won't be lonely around here for long.

Thanks for the for me mum. Sorry, just trying to keep up with all the Brits on here. What are you doing over there, if you're not from there?? Where are you from?
As for the weather, after living in the desert here in New Mexico for 13 years, I have actually considered moving to Seattle, just to feel rain again. I love the rain, and we hardly get any here.
I know I should keep my chin up and expect the best. It's very hard right now, because I'm in a really bad place, physically, emotionally, mentally, and finacially. Sometimes, the highlight of my day is coming on line to find that people have actually left me messages, and are trying to cheer me up!!! That's not really a general occupation where I live. People tend to look down on those who are depressed or in sore straits, whether its their fault or not.
But hey, it could be worse. I may not have my health, but I have my fingers to type with, so I can talk to you, half a world away!
