Hi there me old matey,

To write in your PS, scroll down until you come to the place of PALLADIN. Then click on Edit Page.

Before you start to work on this page, don't forget to copy and paste it to a Word document (.doc); remember how I showed you this morning? Then if anything goes awry you still have the origanal to copy and paste in to your PS.

Is that clear.

Now get off the line, I've had complaints from Mission Control, Houston, that your are blocking a space shuttle flight!

Hi Pal-,

To check how an other person has made his PS up in GuideML do the following.

Go in to some one's PS, any one, say mine.
In the address you will see this;

http://www.bbc.co.ukh2g2/brunel/U4636704, are you with me so far?

Now place your curser over the ‘U’ at the beginning of the numbers i.e U4636704 and now delete the ‘U’

You will now be left with http://www.bbc.co.ukh2g2/brunel/4636704

Between ‘brunel/4636704 type this, ‘testuserpage’ but leave out the quotation marks.

You will now have this;

http://www.bbc.co.ukh2g2/brunel/testuserpage4636704

Now click on GO just to the right of the green arrow on the same line you have just altered.

As you now view their PS you will see all the code needed to create the page.

This gives you the layout of the page in GuideML. It does not take much imagination to alter this code for your own use.

REMEMBER to copy and paste your original PS page in GuideML and save it to a Word document (.doc).

Now is all this clear?

Hi there Pal-ladin,

The day started then rapidly went down hill!

I took the car in for its MOT (from where I bought it, remember?). And they loaned me another until mine was ready. Fine so far.

At 1500 hours I went to the car to pick the daughter up from school, the front off side tyre was flat. On closer inspection the walls had perished!

I took the spare wheel from the boot and the assorted tools. Alarm bells started to ring when I realized the hydraulic jack was not the one that came with the car; it would not fit underneath the front of the car.

The wheel nut spanner did not fit the wheel nuts; it was far too small; I did not have one to fit.

We are covered with break down recovery for every thing, but not when the vehicle is hired! So it was a taxi to pick daughter up. I ‘phoned the garage and they are sending someone out to repair it. I have to have it ready for James Cook in the morning.

A true friend would point where the apostrophy was. I have just come in from the club,I have had four pints and a southern comfort,wonderful.Are you staying on line long. I will be up for a while yet.

The apostrophy is on the same key as the '@', but lower case i.e. you just press it .

Only just received this post. I went to bed early, I was very tired.

I've got the car back. What a messing around with the car they loaned us; but alls well that ends well.

Having dinner now, The daughter and i have made burgers, mine nice and hot with lots of chilli.
