Congrats on the powerboat exam...by dinghy do you mean sailboats? I used to sail Toppers and Lasers and an Australian dinghy called a Cherub...the BEST fun

hello and thanks and yep i do mean boats. I sail lasers but never really liked toppers. I could never get the hang of turning backwards when i tack.

Unfortunately I grew out of them, too big and clumsy to be competitive...have you tried sailboards?

oh i do compete but Im not good my best result ever was a 15th out of 46 and overall i came 26th so not very good but i don't mind

If you mean windsurfing by sailboards then yes but whenever I have its been really light winds but i still really like it. What about you?

I guess I just wasn't suited to dinghies...probably should have tried ocean sailing where I might have been useful if only as ballast and winch power

I love windsurfing...we have a favourite lake where we camp with friends who also have boards...wonderful weekends sailing and sitting around a big campfire at night...just a shame we can't do it all the time.
