Ignore if you wish.
There are people in traffic jams. These people would prefer to get to work cheaply and quickly yet they choose a way that is expensive and slow.
Not my contradiction theirs. Yes it doesnot make sense to do things this way. Yet it happens in nearly every city on this little blue gree planet.
Thus proving that people will go for private transport against all sensible argument.
Not what I choose I cycle to work.
What apart from government intervention would stop people using private transport if cost and time is not a deterent to real live people. like the ones you have observed in traffic jams Appy?
I know you wont answer this because you are ignoring me but even if you werent you couldnt come up with a good answer other than government intervention such as congestion charging only more stringent because in all the Star trek films and shows I have seen I have seen no private transport on federation planets. You can only mention two from the whole franchise and only one of tose is not contended as possibly governemtn funded.
one love
