I taught maths - well out of it now. Lived in Weymouth from 1976 - not teaching then, became a mature student in 1980.
Hope you enjoy your time in Dorset.

Well, actually, my home is in Salisbury. But I have a flat in Weymouth where I live during the week. I return home as early as p[oss on Friday afternoon/evening and return to Weymouth late-ish on Sunday night.
My wife is trying to persuade me to move our home to Weymouth, at least until I retire - not for another 10 years unfortunately. I teach chemistry, but also some GCSE Maths.

Hard choice, Wey-v-Salis both suffer from traffic and 'grockles'. Salis is better placed for escaping. I have two sisters in Wilton.
