Well, I had thought about it but don't really think I would have the time. It'd mean reading rather more Entries in more detail than I do at the moment.

...also, the other thing that I know from my own experiences is that most Entries seem to get Scouted from current convos. Hence I would feel honour-bound to Scout my Entries from those where the convos had died down somewhat - which would mean reading the backlog. That's why I feel I haven't got time to do it.

You're the one who got most nominations, and we need more Scouts to pick from the depths of PR.

... and you already comment more than any scout does.... amd do generally more in PR than anyone else... and this way you get to pick too... and it won't add to your workload at all (...and the perks are a scream)

I've been thinking about that and I remember in the days before I was a Scout, we didn't have access to the <./>ScoutRecommendations</.> page, see, if you, a non-Scout, click that, it denies you access. The Scouts click it, and we can see what's been recommended.

Some of the Scouts look at that page every day (me) and see what's waiting for the Editor's OK. Some of us to the thread to see if we can add any more info/nitpicks. So the conversation starts up again.

What I'm trying to say is, to non-Scouts, it looks like the pick has been made from a current convo, when in fact, it hasn't, the pick was made up to a week before, and it was flagged up for the Scouts to take a last look while it's still in PRotherwise there wouldn't be a Scout Recommendations page, so that must be why it's there
