Hi BigAlsmiley - smiley

I'm subbing your entry on St Helena, which can be found at A11953280. If you could take a look and let me know if my subbing meets with your satisfaction, that would be most excellent.

I did have just one question. You say that "The story of the finding of the True Cross has been recounted by some of the most famous luminaries from Greek and Latin literature, including Socrates," but throughout the entry you also say that Helena allegedly found the Cross in the fourth century AD - long after Socrates' death. I am bound to think, then, that the information about Socrates et al. must be inaccurate, but I require your consultation.

smiley - cheers

Ah, it's not THE Socrates, but Socratyes Scholasticus (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Socrates_Scholasticus).

I'll look for a link that isn't Wikipedia) smiley - smiley

Well, you'd better use the Wikipedia link as it seems about the most informative of the sites.

Put him down as Socrates Scholasticus (380AD-unknown date).
