I 'phoned the Sister in N.Z. last night . She is not well and I was worried. We were on the 'phone for about an hour and it was good to catch up on the family news
It has poured with all day and blowing a gale. However I put my waterproofs on and went for a walk this afternoon. it was really good watching the rain sweep in and there was no one else around. The village was like a ghost town.
Three children joined us this afternoon, we baked bread and ate it warm with chocolate spread, very messy but very nice
We all watched the match and went mad when England scored.
I guess some of the knowalls who wrote Beckham off a couple of weeks ago are thinking again.
The E.G.S. has an ingroing toenail and is limping a bit when he walks. Another hospital visit for the family I suppose.
I was very brave this morning when I had my 'flu injection and didn't cry
. I also had a weight and height check. That was O.K. and I was told the result of my last chloresterol test. 3.5 which I am told is O.K.also
