A bright sunshiney day which has made us feel good. We went to see A.the V this morning and then to the Marazion Hotel for lunch. We decided not to go far today so we we took ourselves off to Penrose Walks and sat under a big shady tree and read the papers. The Son phoned and I was a little curt with him. We are having the four children next Tuesday for a week and he is still so full of himself he hasn't enquired how we are going to cope with them if his mothers' condition gets worse Of course we will cope, it is what us grown up people do.
I did have a 'I feel sorry for me'one day in the week but now I am back on form. When the Boss gets really low I wonder how we are going to manage. Now we know that another operation is sure to put things right, and that it is only going to be keyhole surgery I feel more relaxed. All we have to do is keep the medication going and wait for a hospital date.
I was moaning because everything had gone quiet and since Friday The Olympian has 'phoned, e. mails from Oz and The Mad Woman who is going to paint her grandchildren although that sounds like fun and I might do that to my lot next week. (I wonder if gloss paint will wash out of their hair) My sister in N.Z. wrote and the letter arrived yesterday and my O.U.tutor e mailed last night just to tell me he thought I was quite smart and a couple of researchers left messages for me. How could I be miserable after all those good things happening?,biggrin>
The Olympian is still with the woman he met in Cirencester, since his marriage broke up he has had quite a few 'amours' but this one looks like lasting, the trouble is , she is the only one that I have met that I can't stand.
The rubbish is still piled up outside, no one can be contacted at the council or the refuse company. The 'phones will be red hot tomorrow.
We are thinking of putting it all on a neighbours lorry and dumping on the council office steps..

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
