h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

The local council asked householders to put out our garden rubbish last night because there would no longer be a green recycling skip provided but they would collect it early this morning.it is now 10 P.M. and there are dozens of bin liners full of garden waste lying around the village. I expect it will lay around now until Monday and we all start to moan at the council!
A good day today. We went to St. Agnes to buy wedding presents for the two lads who are getting married this month. We bought them at Presingoll barns. They still have some nice things but it is not as good as it once was.
It was a beautiful drive along the coast road. The beaches were all full and cars were parked all over the place. Cornwall must be nearly full up.
When we got back I finished my first assignment for the O.U. and it is ready to post off on Monday.
The Son phoned but only because he wanted something. He is coming around tomorrow morning. We will have words!!
The Boss has been well today. Another day another gift.
