What a bummer today has turned out to be. We had such a good day yesterday and this day has been a bit scary. I woke up with a pain in my chest and The Boss persuaded me to nip over to the surgery. I was shocked to discover that my blood pressure has gone through the roof and I have been prescribed a load of medication including a G.N.T.spray to use when the pain gets too heavy. I am lined up for blood tests and a scan on Friday. I have spent all day today sitting around when I have been itching to get out into the garden. The Boss insists that I take it easy until I get the results from Fridays tests.
The weather is still wonderful and I find it difficult to sit and do nothing. Still I try to be a good lad and do what The Boss tells me. She never nags(she says) but often 'tells me for my own good!'
Maybe I should not have chopped down the tree on Monday.
