A small question about 'measures' ...
Rev Nick { Only the dead are without fear } Started conversation Sep 17, 2007
In common h2g2 practice, what is the minimum number of Researchers assembled at a given time for micro-Meets, mini-Meets, etc? I have a recent journal that describes the meeting of 7 other researchers over 2 weeks, that one suggested be known as the 'staggered Meet'. And as described at a point in that journal, there were 4 of us together for an evening of dinner, drinks and joviality.

Good question. I don't know the answer so I'm going to make one up. As well being a 'magic number', I'd say three is also the minimum required to constitute a meet. Two is a meetING. One is, well, to quote Harry Nilsson, 'the loneliest number that you'll ever know'.

Well gee and thanks ... You do realize that now I will have that tune stuck in my noggin for the entire day.
Thank you for the decisiveness and prompt response. I will continue to simply consider the whole adventure as a magical mystery tour of our own devising, and a 'staggered Meet' of sorts. , good Sir.
