h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Just been catching up on 'just received this' thread and saw the posts regarding h2g2.
I use h2g2 as my main page and interact with GW from there, and have since I first found it. I've never had to transfer anything, as what was here was already there, (in my pf) I find navigating much easier than at GW, where things haven't been the same since the end of the purple park period. I was thinking about this earlier, about how it would be the perfect place for GWers to keep in touch as it was pretty much as good a place as any to continue in some form if what the 'hipster' says is true and had logged back on to ask if anyone knew whether it was for the chop, a la GW??

So h2g2 is NOT with the BBC, or is it? How can GW be linked to it?
I remember ages ago, (seems like years!), that it was from you I first heard of 'HooToo' and followed you to a 'word-link' game thing but the colours scared me and I ran back in here again to the cosy purple and beige.
This w'end I am going to give it a go, armed with caution, and have a wee nosey around. So you really find it much easier to access than from here? I guess it's what you are best used to. But does that site allow for 'writing work's and engaging comment on them? SO many questions, sorry ...lol

Have to pop out of here soon and do the fecking Book Reviews, but glad I caught you. How are all the Christmas plans coming along? I see that you've caught the seasonal spirit! I've yet to realise what lies ahead! lol

Check out your 'no subject' msg! I forgot to tack it onto the end of this thread you should find it interesting! I got used to the colours quickly and feel comforted now when I see the familiar black and green of brunel, there are other choices though. It is part of the beeb, but maybe the hitchhikers are more prevalent than GWers? There is an option to put your work in your pf the same as GW and you can add a weblog in the style of your pin-jam penjen, so there are a lot of similarities. Far more threads too, I think??
